City and Guilds

Working in partnership with City and Guilds, Mencap has developed two entry level qualifications.

Entry Level 1 and 2: Certificate in Personal Progression through Practical Life Skills

Entry Level 3: Certificate in Personal Progression through Practical Work Skills.

These qualifications are designed to enable people with a learning disability to gain the skills they need to contribute to their communities and the workplace.

The qualification will enable learners to:

- improve their essential personal, social and practical skills in a range of relevant contexts

- increase their confidence and self-esteem

- increase their decision-making ability and personal independence.
