Mencap Carers Network

The Mencap Carers Network provides support to family carers of an adult with a learning disability.

The service is available across Cumbria.

The network provides family carers with:

• information and advice on learning disability issues and your rights
• an opportunity to meet other family carers and share experiences
• the chance to get their views heard by the Learning Disability Partnership Board, to have a say in how learning disability services are run across the county.
